“KATHERINE WHEELS”
Hello everyone! Wow! We had 24 “Jack-in-the-Box” blocks (say that fast!) turned in at the February meeting! And, what a great use of stripes in those blocks, too. The three lucky winners of 8 blocks each were: Ethel S., Kim M., and Cathy B. Congrats to all. This time around, the second “name” block for April’s meeting is called, “Katherine Wheels”. As you can see from the images, stripes can play a part of this block, too. But, if stripes just aren’t your thing, a plain version can be made instead. Both versions will work equally. So, dig out your stripes (again, or NOT) and make a block to turn in. This isn’t a hard one to sew and have fun picking your fabrics. |
