Greetings to everyone and welcome. We had 34 Monkey Wrench blocks made for the February meeting and that’s a lot of blocks! The lucky winners were: Darla B. won 17 blocks total, Jim Y. won 9 blocks, and Debbie W. won 8 blocks. I understand that Darla has made her blocks into a quilt already…way to go Darla. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
Our second “critter” block for April is Puss in the Corner. This is another easy block to make, so don’t just stop at one, right? The fabric choices should reflect those of a calico cat (think gold, orangey yellow, etc.), with the background being white or white-on-white. Please use a dark brown for the dark color, but NOT black or it will look too much like Halloween! And, of course, have fun making this block. Thanks, Candy |
